About Our Team
We are a group of senior undergraduate electrical engineering students with diverse interests within the electrical engineering field. We have enjoyed working together and view this work as an oppertunity to see how we can apply our engineering knowledge to design something that is beneficial to the consumers.

Biography:
Blake is a senior electrical engineering student with an emphasis in power. He is from Elk Grove Village, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. Blake's hobbies include exercise, sports, and watching movies.
Ada Lupa - Test Engineer and Website Developer

Biography:
Ada is a senior in electrical engineering from Arlington Heights, Illinois with an interest in both controls and power. She is an active member in the student organization WISE and holds the position of Social Chair in Engineers Without Boarders. She is excited to start working in the engineering industry with a hope to eventually have a specification in the rehabilitation engineering field. In her spare time she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.

Ethan is a senior in electrical engineer from Charlton, Iowa with a focus on power, specifically renewable energy. After graduation he plans on working for Blattner Energy in electrical field instruction. He enjoys anything sports related.
Jake Ciccola - Reports Manager

Biography:
Jake Ciccola is a senior studying electrical engineering. After graduation he plans on working in the defense industry. He has been excited to work on this project since he believe that despite the project being outisde his focus it will allow him to become a much more well-rounded engineer.
Michael Lortz - Design Engineer

Michael is currently an electrical engineering student with a focus on microelectronics. He has lived in small town Iowa all of his life, and he comes from a background in farming. When he is not studying or working, most of his free time goes towards spending time with friends, playing video games, or building woodworking projects.

Biography:
Bashir is a senior electrical engineering student; he transferred to Iowa State University as a Junior in 2018 from Kirkwood Community College. Bashir is interested in learning about power systems and energy. His involvement with EPES has expanded his focus, passion, and knowledge for affordable and renewable energy power systems. Additionally, as a member of ECSEL he has cultivated leadership skills necessary for the diversity found within engineering pathways and environments
